Mini Clarkson & Harriet Go Viral — Their Halloween Costumes Even Got a Reaction from Clarkson’s Farm Star!
Mini Farmers! Siblings Go Viral After Dressing Up as Jeremy Clarkson and Harriet Cowan for Halloween
“They absolutely love Clarkson’s Farm — and say they want to be farmers when they grow up!”
Halloween just got a lot more wholesome — and a little bit muddy.
Two Yorkshire siblings have melted hearts online after dressing up as Clarkson’s Farm stars Jeremy Clarkson and Harriet Cowan, bringing a hilarious and adorable farming twist to this year’s spooky season.
Seven-year-old Albert Garrington and his five-year-old sister Savannah decided to swap witches and vampires for tractors and wellies, channeling their favorite duo from the hit Prime Video series.
From Oxfordshire to Yorkshire: Clarkson’s Farm Fever Spreads
Filmed at Diddly Squat Farm in Chadlington, Oxfordshire, Clarkson’s Farm has become one of Prime Video’s most popular reality shows, giving viewers a front-row seat to the unpredictable, often chaotic world of British farming
Now, that farming fever has reached Yorkshire. The Garrington kids, both devoted fans, couldn’t think of a better costume idea.
“When we asked what they wanted to be this year, Albert instantly said, ‘Jeremy!’ and Savannah said, ‘I can be Harriet!’” shared their mum, Verity Garrington.
The family’s creative tradition of topical Halloween costumes made this year’s farm-themed idea an easy win.
“In previous years, we’ve done Boris Johnson during lockdown, Leonardo DiCaprio, Wayne Lineker, even gas and electricity bills when prices went crazy,” Verity laughed. “But this one has definitely been the cutest.”
“They Absolutely Love the Show”
According to their parents, Albert and Savannah are super-fans who have watched Clarkson’s Farm countless times.
“From the moment Albert could talk, he’s always said he wants to be a farmer — and at seven years old, that still hasn’t changed,” Verity said. “Farming shows are always on the telly, but Clarkson’s Farm is their absolute favorite.”
The children adore not only Clarkson’s humor but also the show’s authenticity.
“They love that it’s real — that it shows how hard farmers work,” Verity explained. “They think Jeremy’s kind because he helps other farmers, but they also find him hilarious.”
For Savannah, her admiration runs especially deep for one person.
“She was so happy when Jeremy hired Harriet because she loves that there’s a ‘girl farmer’ on the show,” her mum added. “She says Harriet’s kind, clever, and funny — a real role model.”
Harriet Cowan’s Heartwarming Reaction
When Harriet Cowan, the show’s newest farmhand, spotted the children’s costumes on social media, she couldn’t resist sharing the moment.
Reposting the photos on her Instagram story, Cowan wrote:
“The best thing I’ve seen this year.” ❤️
The photos — showing Albert in Clarkson’s signature jacket and Savannah in Harriet’s farm gear — quickly caught the attention of Clarkson’s Farm fans online, many calling it “the sweetest Halloween tribute ever.”
A Dream Trip to Diddly Squat Farm
The Garrington family now hopes to make their children’s dream come true with a visit to Clarkson’s actual farm.
“It would be an absolute dream for the kids to go to Jeremy’s pub and farm shop and hopefully meet the team,” Verity said. “They ask all the time if we can go — we live in York, so it’s quite far — but we’re planning to surprise them with a trip next year.”
With Clarkson’s Farm gearing up for its highly anticipated fifth season, it’s clear the show’s influence stretches far beyond the fields of Oxfordshire. From farmers to families — and now to mini costume versions — Jeremy Clarkson’s unlikely journey into agriculture has inspired fans of all ages.
And if these two tiny farmers are any indication, the next generation of British farming looks to be in very good hands — muddy boots and all. 👩🌾👨🌾🌾
