Inside Clarkson’s Wildest Farm Shop Item Yet – Reporter Reviews the Candle Everyone’s Talking About
“Smells Like Clarkson? Reporter Reviews the Farm Shop Candle Turning Heads at Diddly Squat”
Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire — Jeremy Clarkson’s farm shop has long been known for its eccentric charm and cheeky merchandise, but one particular product is raising eyebrows — and surprisingly, receiving glowing reviews.
Among the shelves of local produce, Diddly Squat Farm Shop now offers what might be the most eyebrow-raising gift item yet: a boldly labeled candle claiming to “smell like Jeremy’s bollocks.”
Yes, you read that correctly.
A Scented Candle with Serious Attitude
Daily Star reporter Bekka Barnard recently visited the now-famous Diddly Squat Farm Shop, located just outside Chadlington, and couldn’t resist investigating the intriguingly named item.
“From the corner of my eye I spotted a huge profanic sentence plastered on the side of a metal tin in bold letters, claiming what’s inside ‘smells like Jeremy’s bollocks’,” she recalled.
Curious (and perhaps a little cautious), Barnard lifted the lid and took a sniff.
“I gingerly opened the container and gave it a whiff, only to be faced with a surprisingly pleasant waft of old leather and something found on the ground — maybe in a forest, perhaps right next to a bog,” she described.
According to Barnard, the candle had a “strong, rich smell”, oddly balanced with the fresh, earthy aroma of petrichor — that nostalgic scent of rain on dry soil.
A Candle That Doesn’t Hold Back
In true Clarkson fashion, the product is as irreverent as it is oddly charming. Like much of the Clarkson’s Farm experience, it leans heavily into satire while offering genuine quality — and fans are loving it.
The Diddly Squat Farm Shop, which has been featured extensively in Amazon Prime’s Clarkson’s Farm, continues to attract visitors from across the UK. Between rustic produce, farm-branded alcohol, and now tongue-in-cheek scented candles, it’s a must-visit for fans of both farming and irreverent humor.
