Clarkson’s Farm Suddenly Halted – What Just Happened on Set?
Jeremy Clarkson forced to stop Clarkson’s Farm filming
Jeremy Clarkson was forced to briefly pause Clarkson’s Farm series five filming due to an unexpected interruption.
The former Top Gear presenter has given fans an insight into life on Diddly Squat Farm in Chadlington, west Oxfordshire, over four seasons of the Amazon Prime docuseries, which first premiered in 2021.
Over that time, he’s faced plenty of farming setbacks and learned the ropes from farmhand Kaleb Cooper.
The latest series focused heavily on Mr Clarkson’s £1,000,000 purchase of The Windmill pub in Asthall near Burford.
Last week the 65-year-old revealed that filming for season five was temporarily halted, due to unforeseen circumstances.
Taking to Instagram with a screenshot of a Flight Radar map, he showed fans that a spitfire plane had entered the airspace above the farm after departing from Oxford.
He said: “Definitely don’t mind having to stop filming while this flies over.”
This comes after he was recently spotted filming series five of Clarkson’s Farm at his pub.
Renovated and reopened in August 2024 as The Farmer’s Dog, the Cotswolds boozer has proved popular with tourists and locals alike.
As recently as late June, the pub was busy once again with customers as some saw Mr Clarkson at the spot himself.
This was during a meal with fellow farmers while the cameras were out filming for the upcoming fifth series.
Mr Clarkson posted a picture of the meal and said: “A fantastic lunch yesterday with all the farmers whose hard work produces the food we serve at The Farmer’s Dog pub.”
There is currently no release date announced for Clarkson’s Farm series five.
