Todd & Julie Chrisley Tell All: Hidden Battles, Viral Rumors, and What Comes Next!
Todd & Julie Chrisley Break Their Silence: Inside Prison Life, Pardons, and Their Bold Return to TV
Todd and Julie Chrisley aren’t holding back.
In their first major sit-down since receiving full presidential pardons from Donald Trump, the former reality TV couple opened up on their daughter Savannah Chrisley’s Unlocked podcast, sharing raw and unfiltered stories from their time behind bars—and what’s next for the Chrisley empire.
“Would I Have Slept with Someone to Get My Child Out? I’d Have Sold Tickets.”
That was Todd Chrisley’s explosive response when addressing rumors surrounding the couple’s unexpected pardon. Julie, equally candid, expressed her frustration at the speculation that political favoritism or backdoor deals played a role in their release. “I worked for two and a half years. I didn’t have a single political connection,” she said. “I forced myself into rooms I wasn’t invited into.”
From Forklifts to Faith: Life Behind Bars
While Todd admitted he refused to provide labor—“I did not give them any labor. I stood. I prayed for their demise. That was the only work I did”—Julie took a different approach. She stayed active, drove a forklift, and kept a strict routine that included morning calls to Savannah and reading over 100 books.
Still, prison life took its toll. Julie revealed that the conditions deteriorated her health, including developing asthma: “I felt unsafe because of the conditions. Things I never had an issue with before suddenly became serious.”
Reunion and Redemption
After two years apart, the couple reunited with powerful emotions. Julie confessed to being nervous seeing Todd again after so long, but their bond remained unshaken. “When I saw him, it was as if no time had passed,” she said. Todd echoed the sentiment: “Even when we were apart, she was with me every second, every breath I took.”
No Apologies for Wealth or Fame
Todd stood firm in his beliefs and legacy: “I don’t have an apology to give anyone over the money I’ve made.” He rebuked the idea that he and Julie were fairly judged, saying, “We were convicted by a jury of our peers? I didn’t see any multimillionaires in that jury box.”
The Chrisleys’ Comeback: A New Show and A New Life
With their sentences behind them and full pardons in hand, the Chrisleys are eyeing a fresh start. The family announced an upcoming Lifetime docuseries and shared plans to open a hotel in South Carolina—where they hope to return to their roots.
“We’re heading back home,” Todd said. “And hopefully becoming grandparents someday.”
There’s even been murmurs about Savannah running for Congress. “There’s been talk,” she teased. “Right now, my focus is on speaking to younger voters.”
From scandal to survival, and now, to second chances—
The Chrisleys are writing a brand-new chapter, one they intend to share with America, one episode at a time.
