Todd confessed that Season 10 would have been his last, regardless of what came next. “This was going to be my last contract that I was going to renew with USA Network for Chrisley Knows Best,” he revealed. “And I was working on my last season.”
The idea of retirement, however, wasn’t popular with everyone. Todd said that other members of his family pushed him to reconsider. They wanted the show to go on, even if he wanted out.
“And I’m fighting with them, saying, ‘No, I’m not. No, I’m not. You guys have been doing it as long as I have. Keep going if that’s what you want to do,’” Todd recalled.
But the decision would soon be taken out of his hands entirely.

As Todd and Julie Chrisley’s legal troubles became national news, everything they had built came tumbling down.
