Major Life Shift for Chase Chrisley – Is He Really Leaving Nashville?
Chase Chrisley and Jodie Fornerat Start Fresh: A New Home, A New Life, and A Future Built Together
Reality TV star Chase Chrisley and his fiancée Jodie Fornerat are trading the spotlight for serenity as they begin an exciting new chapter—together, in Tennessee.
Love Across the Miles: From Long-Distance to Life Together
For over a year, Chrisley Knows Best star Chase Chrisley and his girlfriend Jodie Fornerat navigated the challenges of a long-distance relationship. Jodie’s busy work schedule meant short weekend visits to see Chase, while he managed to spend two to three weeks with her at a time.
Despite the distance, the couple’s bond only grew stronger—and it led them to make a big decision: to close the gap permanently.
A Big Move for an Even Bigger Commitment
In their first joint interview, Chase and Jodie revealed the decision that would change everything: Jodie made the move to Tennessee to be with Chase.
“It wasn’t easy,” Jodie admitted, “but it felt right. We wanted to stop living between two places and start building something solid—together.”
Fans were thrilled to see Chase so genuinely happy, and even more so when he credited Jodie as one of the major reasons he chose sobriety.
Goodbye Atlanta, Hello Franklin
Now, the couple is going even bigger. Chase and Jodie have purchased a 6,200-square-foot property nestled in the peaceful hills of Franklin, Tennessee—just outside of Nashville.
“We’re not just moving across town,” Chase said. “It’s a whole new state, a new house, and a new life.”
For Chase, leaving Atlanta—the city tied to years of family drama and tabloid chaos—was deeply symbolic. “Atlanta holds memories,” he said. “Some good, some not so good. I needed to move forward—and Jod gave me the courage to do that.”
Building a Dream Home with Heart and Heritage
The couple plans to completely renovate the property into a stunning blend of modern farmhouse charm and Jodie’s Louisiana roots.
“We’re keeping the wraparound porch—I’m obsessed with it,” Jodie laughed. “But we’re knocking down walls, adding a chef’s kitchen, and creating a nursery… eventually.”
Even Chase’s mom, Julie Chrisley, offered design tips from behind bars. “She still has taste!” Chase chuckled. “She told me to go with quartz over marble. Even from prison, she’s got opinions.”
Jodie added, “She said I have great taste. That meant a lot. Julie’s a big part of Chase’s heart, and she’s becoming a part of mine too.”
Not Just a House—A Whole New Beginning
This move isn’t just about a new location—it’s about redefining who they are. Chase admitted, “I’m not trying to run away from my family. I love them. But I am trying to build something that’s mine. Something that’s ours.”
The couple hinted at plans to launch a lifestyle brand inspired by their journey—think home goods, candles, and wellness. “We want to reflect what we’re creating—peace, purpose, and love,” Chase said.
And while they’re not rushing into more reality TV, Chase didn’t rule it out entirely. “If there’s ever a show that captures who we really are—not just drama—I’d be open.”
What’s Next: A Wedding, a Brand, and a Backyard Bash
Wedding bells are still in the air, although planning is currently on pause. “Let’s just say it might be a backyard wedding,” Chase teased. “I’ve got this vision: twinkling lights, acoustic music, Jod in lace, and our dogs as ring bearers.”
As for the housewarming party? “Oh, it’s happening,” Jodie promised. “Crawfish, whiskey, and probably Savannah jumping in the pool fully clothed.”
A Second Chance at Happiness
As the couple packed boxes and prepared for the big move, there was a clear sense of peace and purpose.
“This isn’t just about a house,” Chase said thoughtfully. “It’s about creating a space where we can grow, where we can be free—where we can finally just be ourselves.”
With love, ambition, and a deep belief in fresh starts, Chase and Jodie are more than ready to begin again.
