New Chrisley Series Exposes What Fans Never Saw Before!

Chase Chrisley Promises “Raw, Real” Footage in New Chrisley Family Docuseries

The Chrisleys are back — but not like before.
Following Todd and Julie Chrisley’s high-profile pardon, the family is stepping back into the spotlight with a brand-new Lifetime docuseries, and this time, viewers can expect a much different tone.

🔹 A Comeback Story Years in the Making

The Chrisley family rose to fame through their hit USA Network show, Chrisley Knows Best, which aired from 2014 to 2023. Known for its lighthearted tone and sitcom-style storytelling, the show presented a polished, often comedic view of family life.

But after Todd and Julie’s conviction in 2022 for bank fraud and tax evasion—and their subsequent 19-year prison sentence—everything changed. That is, until May 2025, when the couple received a full presidential pardon from Donald Trump, sparking a media frenzy and a fresh wave of interest in the family.

🔹 A Docuseries with Nothing to Hide

In an interview with People, Chase Chrisley teased what fans can expect from the upcoming Lifetime series. And it’s not another scripted family sitcom.

Chrisleys Announce New TV Show Amid Todd & Julie's Prison Sentences

“It’s very different than Chrisley Knows Best,” Chase said. “That was a family sitcom. This? This is just raw footage. Raw.”

According to Chase, the new show won’t shy away from the struggles. While fans will still see moments of levity, the series will also delve into the emotional reality of what the family has endured.

🔹 Real People, Real Struggles

Originally, it was announced that Savannah, Chase, Grayson, Chloe, and Nanny Faye Chrisley would appear in the series—without Todd and Julie. But their pardon changed everything. Cameras were quickly rolled back out to capture the couple’s reunion and fresh chapters of their post-prison life.

“We were actually at the tail end of filming,” Chase explained. “Now we’re still filming a little bit.”

What sets this show apart is the emotional honesty. Chase admits that in Chrisley Knows Best, the cast played versions of themselves that fit the network’s mold.

“We all played characters,” he said. “Now, we’re able to be open and vulnerable. Show the highs, the lows—and how, no matter how low we get kicked down, we’re still going to get back up.”

🔹 A New Chapter for the Chrisleys

With renewed public attention and a platform to tell their side of the story, the Chrisleys are making their return with more transparency—and perhaps more heart—than ever before.
