Jeremy Clarkson’s Latest Farm Experiment Involves Rhino and Giraffe Poo – Seriously!
Jeremy Clarkson to use rhino and giraffe poo at Clarkson’s farm
Jeremy Clarkson has linked up with Cotswold Wildlife Park so he can use manure from the animals for his farm.
Viewers have been following the former Top Gear and Grand Tour host’s agricultural adventures in recent years on Clarkson’s Farm.
The Prime Video show is filmed at Diddly Squat Farm in Chadlington, west Oxfordshire, which the 65-year-old has owned since 2008.
Now it has emerged that manure from the rhinos and giraffes at the popular visitor attraction near Burford is being spread on his land.
Rhinos at Cotswold Wildlife ParkHe told The Times that he asks Kaleb Cooper, a co-star of the TV series, to spread “all the rhino and giraffe dung that we collect every so often from Cotswold Wildlife Park”.
The link-up with the wildlife park was referred to as Mr Clarkson revealed a new addition to Diddly Squat in the form of an AgBot T2 driverless tractor.
The new machine has been revolutionary for the TV celebrity, but he noted that it has been a cause of concern for his co-star.
He wrote: “Kaleb hates it. He says it’ll put him out of a job.
“I did point out, though, that if his contracting business had one, he could turn up at someone’s farm, set it off and then go to someone else’s farm with his normal tractor and get paid twice. Double dipping.”
Mr Cooper has to spread the rhino and giraffe manure before the AgBot can be deployed.
Mr Clarkson said he has been watching footage from the AgBot’s cameras.
Lisa Hogan and Jeremy ClarksonHe added: “Every night for the past week I’ve climbed into bed and made Lisa watch a feed from the AgBot’s cameras as he trundles along in the darkness.
“She thinks I’ve become a bore and wonders sleepily why I can’t watch Pornhub like a normal person.
“But to be in bed while you’re tractoring does make me all warm and fuzzy.”
Series four of Clarkson’s Farm was released in May and June with eight episodes available to stream.
