Jeremy Clarkson’s Next Big Move: Hosting 25,000 Farmers on His Own Land. Here’s Why.!

Jeremy Clarkson to Host 25,000 Farmers at Landmark Event on Diddly Squat Farm

In a move that brings together two of Britain’s greatest passions — television and farming — Jeremy Clarkson is preparing to welcome 25,000 farmers and agricultural professionals to his Diddly Squat Farm in the Cotswolds for Cereals 2026, the UK’s flagship arable event.

The former Top Gear presenter turned farmer will temporarily transform his famous Chipping Norton property into the beating heart of British agriculture next June, hosting an audience of industry leaders, experts, and exhibitors from across the country.

From Petrolhead to Farming Figurehead

Few could have predicted that Clarkson — once best known for roaring supercars down race tracks — would become one of the UK’s most outspoken voices in farming. Yet, since launching Clarkson’s Farm on Amazon Prime Video, he’s done just that: turning his Diddly Squat Farm into both a working business and a platform for the realities of rural life.

Now, in June 2026, Clarkson’s 1,000-acre Cotswolds farm will host Cereals, the UK’s largest arable farming show. The event, running from June 10–11, will feature over 500 exhibitors, transforming Diddly Squat into a vast outdoor convention of innovation, machinery, and agricultural expertise.

“Farmers are facing so many issues at the moment,” Clarkson said. “Hosting Cereals is our chance to do something positive for the industry — to share ideas, highlight new technology, and shine a spotlight on the challenges UK farmers face every day.”

He added: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming farmers from across the UK to this celebration of British farming.”

The Biggest Agricultural Gathering in the Cotswolds

For two days, Diddly Squat Farm will become a living exhibition of British agriculture. The event, which is trade-only, will give farmers and professionals a chance to connect with suppliers, discover new products, and discuss innovations shaping the industry’s future.

From crop science to sustainable equipment and precision technology, Cereals is known as the “Glastonbury of farming” — a place where ideas, business, and community meet under one big sky.

Hosting it at Diddly Squat Farm, however, adds a new layer of excitement. With Clarkson’s national profile and the farm’s now-iconic status, the 2026 edition is expected to draw both record attendance and global attention.

A Platform for Real Farming Issues

Clarkson has spent recent years using his influence to raise awareness of the financial, environmental, and political struggles facing British farmers. Earlier in 2025, he was seen supporting rural protests in Westminster, calling for fairer policies for food producers and small-scale farmers.

That mission, he says, continues with Cereals 2026.

“This event isn’t about television — it’s about teamwork,” Clarkson emphasized. “Farming has always been about community, and this is a great chance to bring that community together to face challenges head-on.”

Charlie Ireland, farm consultant and familiar face from Clarkson’s Farm, reinforced that Cereals 2026 is strictly for professionals, not for fans of the show.
“We’ll ensure this remains a farmers-only affair,” Ireland said. “But of course, hosting Cereals at Diddly Squat is an incredible opportunity to draw wider attention to the issues that matter.”

Ireland added that despite the fame, “Away from the cameras, Diddly Squat is like any other farm — equally vulnerable to the weather, the markets, and the political climate.”

Kaleb Cooper Champions the Next Generation

Fellow Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper is also eager to see the event inspire younger farmers.

“I was lucky to find farming early in life,” said the 27-year-old. “I’d love to see more young people get that same buzz — whether it’s driving tractors, caring for animals, or producing food.”

For Cooper, events like Cereals are essential in keeping the next generation connected to the land — and to the pride that comes with feeding a nation.
