Kaleb Cooper Finally Reveals What He Really Thinks of Jeremy Clarkson – and It’s ‘Mind-Blowing

Kaleb Cooper Reveals His True Feelings About Jeremy Clarkson After ‘Mind-Blowing’ Discovery

Kaleb Cooper has never been one to hold back when it comes to teasing Jeremy Clarkson. Whether on-screen in Clarkson’s Farm or during interviews, the young farmer’s playful digs at the veteran broadcaster have become one of the show’s greatest delights. Yet behind the witty banter and cheeky one-liners, Kaleb has now revealed his true thoughts about Clarkson – and his words may surprise fans.

Since its debut in 2021, Amazon Prime Video’s Clarkson’s Farm has captivated audiences worldwide by chronicling Jeremy Clarkson’s turbulent, and often comedic, attempt at running a farm in the Cotswolds. At the heart of it all has been Kaleb, the no-nonsense 27-year-old farmhand whose sharp honesty, quick wit, and passion for farming quickly won over viewers. With more than three million Instagram followers and a growing fan base, Kaleb has become a star in his own right.

But despite his rising profile, Kaleb insists that he has no desire to leave the farm behind. His loyalty to the land – and to Clarkson himself – remains unshaken. In a recent interview, he revealed a more heartfelt side of his relationship with the former Top Gear host.

“I love the bloke to pieces,” Kaleb admitted. “Whenever I have a problem or need some advice, I just go and sit down with him. I hope that I teach him a little bit about farming, but he teaches me so much more. When I went on tour, he told me all about his Top Gear days with live audiences, so I’ve got a great mentor.”

Kaleb went on to say that working alongside Clarkson has opened his eyes to just how much experience and creativity the veteran presenter brings to the table. “Jeremy’s been around the world. He’s done all the TV. He’s great at making television. Watching that bloke’s brain work is unbelievable – it’s honestly mind-blowing.”

Of course, in classic Kaleb fashion, the compliments were quickly followed by a cheeky swipe. When asked whether he sees Clarkson as a father figure, the young farmer quipped, “I would say grandad probably.”

This lighthearted teasing has become something of a signature for Kaleb. In his children’s book, Kaleb’s Farmyard Tales: Escaping Animals and Runaway Tractors, he jokingly referred to Clarkson as “the worst farmer” he had ever met – though he conceded that Jeremy showed surprising skill when it came to pig farming.

Kaleb has also made headlines for his sense of humor outside the show. During a recent radio interview, he was asked why he chose to name the smallest piglet in a litter “Jeremy.” With a grin, Kaleb replied, “I don’t know really, I just thought it was a great name. It sums up… you know, every Jeremy is always a little bit of a runt.”

Fans have embraced Kaleb’s quick wit, with many calling for him to have his own television programme. One supporter posted on X (formerly Twitter): “Kaleb off this Jeremy Clarkson farm needs his own show, he’s hilarious.” Another wrote: “Literally love this show. Shows a whole new light on farming – hilarious. Kaleb should have his own show, he’s so funny, keep them coming Jeremy.” A third fan suggested: “Give Kaleb and Jeremy their own show where Jeremy travels around the world with Kaleb! Love the double act!”

Their on-screen chemistry has become one of the most celebrated elements of Clarkson’s Farm. The dynamic between the brash, world-traveled broadcaster and the straight-talking young farmer offers both comedy and heart – a balance that has helped the show achieve critical and popular success.

That success was formally recognized at the recent National Television Awards, where Clarkson’s Farm took home the trophy for Best Factual Entertainment. Taking to the stage, Clarkson dedicated the win to the hardworking farming team: “We’re genuinely thrilled. And equally, there are those of us who farm here and we’ve scrubbed up so well you wouldn’t know it. But there are farmers – Kaleb, Harriet, Charlie, and Gerald, who isn’t here – who work incredibly hard. I mean, way harder than anyone in this room. And I do mean that.”

For all his jokes at Clarkson’s expense, Kaleb’s admiration for his co-star is unmistakable. Theirs is a partnership built on laughter, mutual respect, and a shared determination to prove that farming is every bit as rewarding as it is backbreaking. And while Kaleb may continue to call Jeremy “grandad” or the “worst farmer” he knows, he also acknowledges that Clarkson’s mentorship has been nothing short of invaluable.

As fans eagerly await the next season of Clarkson’s Farm, one thing is certain: the unique bond between Jeremy Clarkson and Kaleb Cooper remains the show’s beating heart – part comedy duo, part unlikely friendship, and entirely unforgettable.
