Jeremy Clarkson’s shop declared to be the best in UK

Jeremy Clarkson’s Oxfordshire farm shop has been declared the best in the UK by HelloFresh.

The Diddly Squat Farm Shop in Chadlington came top of the meal delivery box company’s rankings by scoring 81 out of 100.

The marking system incorporated several factors including social media following, price range, chance of rain during a visit and Tripadvisor rating.

The famous farm shop, which is a regular feature in the hit Amazon TV series Clarkson’s Farm, scored particularly highly on its social media presence with more than two million followers on Instagram, as well as average satisfaction with a Google rating of 4.4 stars.

Often manned by Mr Clarkson’s girlfriend Lisa Hogan, the shop is part of the wider 1,000-acre Diddly Squat Farm which has been owned by the former Top Gear star since 2008.

Over four seasons of Amazon Prime docuseries Clarkson’s Farm, which first premiered in 2021, viewers have watched as Mr Clarkson has learned key farming skills.

In addition, Mr Clarkson has purchased The Farmer’s Dog in Asthall near Burford for around £1,000,000.

He documented the grand opening and the run up to it on the latest series of Clarkson’s Farm.

In total, 30 farm shops across the UK were assessed in HelloFresh’s survey with the Macknade Food Hall in Kent coming a narrow second.
