Jeremy Clarkson Reveals Unseen Moment from the Farm – And It’s Flying High!
Jeremy Clarkson Forced to Halt Filming at Diddly Squat Farm After Unexpected Disruption from the Sky
An airborne interruption leaves Clarkson frustrated as Season 5 filming hits turbulence once again.
Jeremy Clarkson has once again faced unexpected setbacks while filming the latest season of Clarkson’s Farm at his now-famous Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire.
On Friday, the 65-year-old presenter and his film crew were in the middle of shooting scenes for the highly anticipated Season 5 when they were forced to temporarily halt production. The culprit? A private aircraft that flew directly over the farm, creating a noisy disruption that brought the cameras to a standstill.
Clarkson took to Instagram, where he boasts 9.3 million followers, to share a screenshot of the flight path. The diagram showed the plane departing from Oxford and circling over Chadlington—precisely above Diddly Squat Farm—before veering off toward Kingham. Clearly irritated, Clarkson captioned the post with a sarcastic 11-word message:
“Definitely don’t mind having to stop filming while this flies over.”
This isn’t the first time an airborne distraction has caused filming chaos at the farm. In May of last year, Clarkson shared a similar frustration after a helicopter hovered over the farm during Clarkson’s Farm Season 4 filming. At the time, his response was even more blunt:
“Filming paused till this ftrd b***s off.”
Filming Interruptions Aren’t the Only Change at Diddly Squat
While the skies may be causing problems, changes are also happening on the ground.
Fans of Clarkson’s Farm will know all too well the ongoing tension between Jeremy Clarkson and some local Chadlington residents, particularly regarding the popularity of the Diddly Squat Farm Shop. Large crowds have often caused traffic jams and parking issues, leading to local complaints.
In response, the shop had traditionally closed two days a week to alleviate congestion. But last week, Clarkson announced a major update:
The shop will now be open six days a week, closing only on Mondays.
Meanwhile, The Farmer’s Dog—Clarkson’s pub located on-site—remains open seven days a week, though no food is served on Mondays.
What’s Next for Clarkson’s Farm?
Despite the disruptions, filming for Season 5 of Clarkson’s Farm continues with high fan anticipation. Whether it’s sky-bound nuisances or council disputes, it seems nothing can truly derail Clarkson’s rural ambitions.
